WCCCU Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is elected by the credit union membership during the annual general meeting (AGM) and reports directly to the membership. The board members serve on a voluntary basis.

The Board is part of the overall management team that includes the Supervisory Committee and the Credit Committee. The board however has the ultimate decision making authority and responsibility for directing and controlling the affairs of the credit union and providing effective and efficient management of overall operations. The board approves policies that direct operational management and delegate the necessary authority to staff so they can fulfill their job.

  Mr. Toussaint, Acting Assistant Local Government Commissioner, at the Department of the Local Government and Community Development, prior to that he served as District Development Officer assigned to the western district. He was the President of the SCCU board and president of the WCCCU board until 2008, he was re-elected President in 2009.
• Mr. David Fritz .............................................Vice President
  
  

  Mr. Fritz, a graduate of the University of the West Indies brings to the board competencies in Management and Accountancy and years of credit union experience having served on the Credit Committee of the SCCU. He presently holds a senior position at the Public Works Corporation and has given voluntary service to the WCCCU since September 01, 2006.

  A former Administrative Manager brings to the board ten years of co-operative experience. She served as Secretary to the Board of Directors of the SCCU and one term as President. She was elected to serve on the WCCCU Board from October 2007 and currently holds the position of Secretary.
  
  
• Ms. Rosette Jno-Charles .................................Ast. Secretary/Treasurer
  
  

  Ms. Jno-Charles, a dedicated and qualified teacher for over twenty years has been a director from inception of the WCCCU on September 25, 2005. She is an experienced director, having served as Secretary to the Board of Directors of the SCCU for a number of years.

  Mr. Vidal is an agriculturist and still an avid farmer to this day. A once dedicated and unswerving director on the Board of Directors of the SCCU, Mr. Vidal brings the same qualities to the WCCCU Board as a director since November 25, 2007.
