WCCCU Management Team
The WCCCU has assembled an accomplished team to carry out its mission. Our Management staff consist of experienced professionals who bring years of experience in Accounting, Management, Marketing and alternative and university education arenas. Below is The complete list of the WCCCU knowledgeable and skilled management team – the experts who manage, develop, maintain and provide support for our portfolio of quality services.
Team:
- Mrs. Veronica Andrew ....................................General Manager
Mrs. Andrew is a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a Diploma in Business Management . She has been with the credit union for at least 32 years. Some of her duties include;
- planning, directing and controlling the daily operational activities in accordance with the policies established by the Board of Directors.
- ensure compliance with laws, develop and monitor the operational and capital budgets, business plans, asset/liability plans, strategic plans, disaster recovery plans and operating policies and procedures which seek to contribute to the overall stability, profitability and growth of the Credit Union.
- Ms. Vernell Frederick ....................................Assistant Manager-Finance
Ms. Frederick is a graduate of the University Of The West Indies with a Bsc in Accounting. She has been with the society for 22 years. A few of her general duties include;
- Implementing financial policies and procedures.
- Preparation of the annual budget and other relevant report and forecasts.
- Establish, maintain and responsible for cash control.
- Ms. Melisha Davis ...................Assistant Manager-Marketing.................melisa.davis@wcccu.net
Ms.Davis is a graduate of the Monroe College in New York with a BBA in Management and Minor in Marketing. She is also the newest addition to the Management Team. General Duties include;- Develop a product development strategy in collaboration with Credit management aimed at achieving the Credit Union strategic objectives.
- Establish and implement marketing strategies aimed at improving the level of members’ satisfaction.
- Carry out market Research, and develop a sales program to expand the product portfolio and increase the level of transactions.
- Mr. Ericson Robinson ....................................Assistant Manager-Credit
Mr. Robinson is a graduate of City & Guilds with a Diploma in Civil Engineering. Mr. Robinson joined the team in 2005. Duties include;
- Ensure that the necessary procedures are in place and implemented consistent with the loan policy in the granting and disbursement of loans.
- Monitor and manage the loan portfolio to ensure that the level of delinquency is contained within the established prudential standards.
- Ensure that all documentation is effectively managed to facilitate proper analysis of the loan portfolio and collection as well as provide the required information for the timely recovery procedure including the use of the courts.
- Mrs. Laureen Jno. Jules ....................................Assistant Manager-Operations
i. Mrs. Jno Jules has been with the society for 22 years and is currently pursuing a Diploma at Cambridge University in Human Resource Management. Her duties include:
- Train new and existing employees
- Direct workflow to staff, as permitted allowing them to execute their responsibilities successfully
- Help lead and maintain appositive work environment
- Counseling to Staff as necessary
